Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Performs analysis on construction and diagnostics of IT environments and DoD communications assets, information system exploitation, research, digital forensic analysis, report generation, mentoring, and recommendation of new analysis support technologies using customer resource tools and databases.  Perform in a dynamic environment with the ability to influence end user efficiency and productivity. This position will perform various analyses of computers and networks to determine cybersecurity vulnerabilities using threat analysis tools.  Provides written and oral assessments regarding vulnerability analysis. Assists in the development of new tools, and modifications of existing tools. Some remote work and schedule is flexible.  May require minimal local travel within the NCR.   Former military personnel that have served in the cybersecurity or IT fields are preferred.
Required Skills:
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
  • Five (5) years specialized experience performing work in at least four of the following areas:
  • Defense Information System Agency (DISA) network management tool sets that are utilized to monitor and manage the Defense Information System Network (DISN) and other enterprise services.
  • DoD Computer Network Defense (CND) data and tool sets.
  • Network Management and Network Operations Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
  • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and other Industrial Control Systems and analyzing and assessing these systems.
  • Network management tool sets used to monitor and manage Commercial Provider enterprise services.
  • Comprehensive gap analysis of policy, procedures, and configurations.
  • Analysis of advanced cyber threats, network defense environments and Intelligence Community capabilities.
  • Must hold Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level II certification(s) required to work on government IT systems, to include any of the following:  CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP or higher level certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and excellent customer service mindset
Desired Skills:
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience including: three (3) years’ demonstrated experience in Cybersecurity techniques and network analysis; four (4) years’ demonstrated experience with threat analysis software utilization; four (4) years’ demonstrated experience with TC/IP fundamentals, Windows operating systems and supporting Office applications; two (2) years’ experience with application servers and containers; and six (6) years’ experience in programming and analysis with requirements of similar scope, type and complexity within the Federal Government. Demonstrated real-world incident management/incident response experience.
  • CCNP or similar advanced-level certificate
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field
